USA Slimline Card - Curations Summer 2025

Stampers Anonymous Summer Travel Curations is here! I thought it was a great time to get started on my patriotic makes. With the Americana and Mini Americana Blueprints, I made this Slimline Card.
For the background I masked off the top third, used the Star Stencil from the Mixed Media 41 Correspondence set THMM041. Using a Mini Blending tool and foam I applied Distress Micro Glaze and let it dry so it would resist the Distress Ink. Then I applied Blue Print and Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks over it and lightly wiped the ink off the Microglazed stars.
For the bottom two thirds of the background I masked off the blue area once it was dry and then stamped the stripe from Americana Silhouettes CMS122 repeatedly down the background to make a striped stamp.

To finish the card I stamped three of the mini blueprints, colored them with Distress Inks, matted them with black and popped them up with foam.I matted the background, sewed around the outside edge and this simple patrioric Americana Card was done. Great products make it so much easier to create.

One last little thing, as I was finishing up and taking pictures, I got out my summer patriotic decor and found this cool vintage Cleveland Train box I had gotten last year and it couldn't have been more perfect for Stampers Anonymous right? And the addition of the vintage popcorn box in honor of my friend Tim and his amazing popcorn imagination.

Now let’s go have a creative day! ðŸ˜ƒ
